Murder – Mystery – Trout Tour coming July 17th
JeffK will be hosting an outing for Ridge & Valley TU! We’ll follow him on a tour of the Musconetcong River, Pohatcong Creek, and Lopatcong Creek valleys. We will tap Jeff’s love of history and learn about the murders, mystery, and history of the past residents of Warren County. You might want to bring a rod along; I’m hoping Jeff might show us some of his ‘secret’ spots! Unfortunately water temps may be too high to fish…
The plan is to meet at Stephens State Park in Hackettstown at 8:30am, move everyone into as few vehicles as are comfortable and follow JeffK around the watersheds starting at 9am. He’ll stop, and we’ll all get out to hear him speak. The tour will end back at Stephens S.P.
There may be an informal barbecue in the Park after the Tour.
We expect this to go about 5+hours (not including lunch or grill time afterward). Even if you’re not a fan of history this is a good way to find new water!
